What are some choices for Minivans?

Hi there,

My family are I will be moving to Doha in July from the US. We have two young children and are planning to get a minivan. It seems that SUVS are quite popular in Qatar, so I was curious to know if minivans are also available. Does anyone have some idea about prices and availability (new/used). Thanks very much.

MPVs can be found here so please disregard my comment above. I was thinking of camper vans, for some weird reason. Sorry about that.

gks4n, When you say a mini vanm do you mean an MPV, a people carrier like the Ford Winstar or the Chevrolet Grand Voyager or Renault Espace or Seat Alhambra

I've never seen one in five years here. I wouldn't be surprised if they're illegal. (You're not allowed to hang washing out where people can see it so sleeping in vans would be very much frowned upon.)
