Need info about Labor and Delivery at HMC
Can anyone tell me what I should be packing for labor and delivery for Hamad Women's Hospital? I'm not sure if the hospital here provides the same things as most hospitals, normally information online is referring to hospitals in the states. Anyone know anything they do not provide (that are essential)?
for the mom - medium sized towel, comfortable clothes..and toiletries..thats it..
for the baby - blanket.. clothes..it's kinda cold in the room.. cotton (small pack just in case the baby pooped).. diaper.. small towel/s..

HMC doesn't allow for you to take anything into the labor and delivery room. If you are in labor up on the ward you can take what you like, but once they move you downstairs you can't take anything.
please don't go alone, you can take one female support person and better if they have been through the system before. please e-mail me if you want more info, I attend births at HMC.
