As per the recent information (as per gulf times more than a year back), the park will be converted with new idea's (4 quarters; one for Aqua, one for scating, one for family, one for mini-zoo etc etc)and due to be completed in 3years time (still nosigns of any project activity).
Where is the space for 4+ theme parks to accomodate in a such small (500meters x 500 meters) and ministry offices+their spacious parkings left nothing to develope (I never thought of multi storied green park)
This was one of the few parks in early years of Doha with good vegetation and privacy (one has to pay for entry and restricted for families only).
Looking eagerly waht it will turn to with the new ideas arising in their mind every now and then but still closed for (more than 4-5 years)

IT doesn't matter because it is closed. It's the one in Al Muntazah street, off the C ring.
Which one is Muntazah?
it has been closed for years. I remember writting a post about it many months ago.
Shame, really, because is a truly beautiful, secured area for small children.
