Impact of uncertainty over family visas of staff
By landloverreview •
Some employers in the country are reportedly finding it difficult to retain workers in view of the “difficulties” they face while trying to obtain family visas.
There are reports of some “dejected” personnel preparing to quit their jobs as their applications for family visas have been rejected more than once over a year. The employers, on their part, say there is a lot of “uncertainty” in some GCC states, including Qatar, over the issue of family visas.
It has come to light that even after completing the necessary formalities, there have been instances of professionals in various fields failing to obtain family visas over the past few months.
at least some arrange ment,,,,
I think in most of the rejected or dejected cases the salary bracket are not met. All those youngsters those who are getting 7k to 9k irrespective of Nationalities are applying for family visas and they are the one who are crying for family visas. I agree to the point that in some instances visa applications are rejected even if all documents are submitted according to the criteria but the majority of the rejected are not able to meet the minimum criteria.
If there really is a issue about getting family visas how come we see so many new families and new couples out here or is this a temporary arrangement adapting to the local situation with what and who is available while the visa process is ongoing
Try online its much esier to get it done provided all papers are correct
Its a constant balance of looking at the Country's infrastructure and Healthcare, whether it can stand the deluge of residents and their families.
Comparing it to the benefit of having the family here, in terms of salaries / money circulating within the local business (instead of being sent as remittance).
that applies mostly to asian whose salary is far lower than the westerns.
They are not enough schools for the children, not enough affordable housing so its part of a wider policy not to issue family visas.
Else if all the families were granted visas, Then the outcry would be there are not enough schools.
I know a lot of families that come over and finding it really hard to get reasonable accomodation and guaranteed school places for their kids.
