How long is the process of transferring a wife visa to husband visa?

Hi Guys,
i have all the requirements to transfer the visa of my wife under my sponsorship. i'am just wondering how long will it takes when i apply this documents to the labor ministry. do you think i have enough time, coz her 6 months family visa will end this October 1, 2010.let say i will start arranging all of this after EID holiday,probably sept 14-15, because i'am still waiting for one docs from my country. any reply is appreciated.

only problem is holidays will be till about 20th for government and ministry :)

btw, once you apply for a visa you will be handed over a temp visa in a couple of days, which is valid for 6 months. you got to get you wife's medical and fingerprinting done by then.

It can be done in a week time or 2 weeks maximum provided that all the documents are ready and with out any problems.
