Doha Comedy Festival almost sold out
The Doha Comedy Festival (DCF), which is part of the live entertainment events of Shop Qatar this year, is gaining widespread popularity in Qatar with tickets for the show selling like hot cakes. Tickets for the third show which is also the last show of the Doha Comedy Festival have already sold out. America’s Got Talent’s winner, Paul Zerdin, and the Daily Show’s host, Trevor Noah, are the highlights of the third show, with the name “International Day” which sold out last week. Qatri comedian, Hamad al Amari, who is also known as “The Qatari Guy” will be the opening act of this show.
The first day of the DCF will feature an “Arab” themed show which will showcase Nemr from Lebanon, Rajae Qawas from Jordan, Nikolas Khoury from Jordan, Mohanad Al Hattab from Syria, Wonho Chung from Korea and Mohammad Salem from Egypt. The highlight of the second day will be “Khaleeji” show and will feature Saudi comedians-Moayad Al Nefaie, Bader Saleh, Ibraheem Al Khairallah and Moayad Al Nefaie-along side Kuwaiti comedians- Bashar Al Jazzaf, Ahmad Al Shammari and Abdallah Al Saidan.
Tickets for the DCF are priced at QAR.70 and go on to QAR.995. They are available at Virgin Megastores and its website along with Shop Qatar booths at all the malls that are taking part I Qatar’s first ever shopping festival.
