I believe that Compass follows something called the International Primary Curriculum, rather than the English National Curriculum. As one or two other people have mentioned, the fees at Compass are very high (even by Doha standards). The Compass school website looks very posh and most of the parents who send their children to Compass seem to be happy with everything - apart from the fees.
Yes, it is quite expensive as it is a small school and still charges about the same tuition as the schools with larger facilities such as ASD. However, it is expanding quickly and relatively organized (compared to a number of other international schools around town). I first visited in April and it has increased the class number and better utilized its space since my first visit. Yet, due to the small size, it makes it easier for new children to settle in. Currently, our daughter is attending Compass and really enjoys the school and the staff. We have found it both a challenging and fun curriculum (so far!). Also, we like the mix of students coming from a wide range of countries. The school offers Arabic and French as foreign languages (kids learn two on top of the classroom language English). However, it also has a special language program that caters to the needs of the Dutch and German students.

My wife and daughter are returning from Australia.Could somebody suggest a good school for her. Thanks
Well, all of that fee income must be going somewhere. I hope that the teachers see some of it.
Does that mean that they also pay the staff better than other schools and provide better living accommodation?!!

I am interested in knowing about the living / teaching conditions available to teachers who work there.

Veni, Vici, viva.
All I know is that it is expensive in comparison to the other schools.
