My wife is in Visit visa and she is prgnant at the moment. We are planing to deliver the baby here since I am not in a position to get leave and also my wife want me to be there with her when the child is born. Can some one advise me what is the visa procedure when the child is born. At the moment my wife is on Visit visa under my sponsorship (6 months) and after another three months baby is due,

How is the procedure of making visa for the new born child?.

If you are eligible to sponsor your wife for family visa, start applying the procedure then..It will cost you a heavy amount if your wife will deliver on VISIT VISA..

Aside from Hamad Hospital, you can also try Al Emadi Hospital, they have good facilities too. As for the visa, I think you have to apply for a family resident visa for your wife first because once your wife is on the husband's visa it will be easy to obtain a visa for your baby especially in this case that baby will be delivered here in Qatar. Seek your company's help because you would need NOC from your company and a form to be filled up with your employers/company's signature and stamp. Congratulations and all the best!
