So, a family member told me that if a lady is going to give birth at Ahli Hospital and developed something serious, they dont take up the risk and send her directly to Hamad hospital bec they are more experienced???????????
Is this true? and that if the same happened at Imadi they send the patient.

Is this true?!

Dr Rizvi is the main doctor in obstetrics at Al Ahli. She was the head at Hamad for 18 years before going to Al Ahli. She is the best so to say people at Hamad are more experienced is false. She is like a general ordering and moving people around to provide fabulous care. She will let other doctors deliver babies but jumps in at the moment there is a problem and takes over. She is the superwoman of obstetrics.

Al Ahli cannot provide care for premature babies so you can give birth there but then everyone is sent to Hamad using ambulance service.

Your husband can assist during delivery in Al Ahli whereas it is forbidden in Hamad.

Al Ahli hospital and Al Emadi are much more better than Hamad hospital because they are private hospitals. In the emergency in hamad hospital, u go and see people taking numbers and waiting their turn ... what they call it emergency? i dont know why. this will never happen in a private hospital. anyway the medical care level in qatar is not so high and myself i suffered from a doctor fault for 7 months and there was a good chance i would lose my leg .. but went back to my country for operations. so take care and lets wait for SIDRA hospial. i think its gonna be something different and more than 5 stars hospital. but again who will be able to afford that? insurances wont cover such hospital.

with a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, so yes ALL hospitals in Qatar send their premature babies or infants with any sort of problems to Hamad. And if it is a high risk pregnancy, no other hospital will even allow you to deliver at their place.

better just ask the dr's at those hospitals. They can tell you exactly what their policies are.
