walking along the street

i was walking along the street in doha wearing jeans/pants and loose tshirt. i have a long black hair but dont wear any make up or lipstick. i was annoyed to have seen men to look at women like they are being stripped off with their clothes. too disgusting to take a walk outside. :(

Wear nice reflectors and let it reflect any dirty gazes back to the perpetrators.

get used to it DUDE ! it don't matter if you're a girl or a guy you will get a dirty look here in qatar in different ways.

and yeah there is a reason for why it happens here the most. according to Wikipedia- " Because a large percentage of the expatriates are male, Qatar has a heavily skewed sex ratio, with 3.46 males per female." so you know they don't really see a lot of "you" out there in the street walking with a J Lo booty, so you get the pervertic look !

Enjoy the fleeting admiration and attention. Out here you even have guys staring at the dressed dolls in the shop windows. Dont blame the guys just take a moment to understand the situation they are in. Its normal to stare and they would stare at a camel passing by if it was a camel instead of you.

Driving back home yesterday @ 3.30 PM while waiting for traffic to move in front saw a girl in almost see through top... guess if she saw me looking and think I was staring, as in 'staring', she obviously is wrong... I was just a bit surprised, going by the acceptable dress code oft mentioned here... and that took me time to take my eyes off her...

that people in other parts of the world where women are dressed the way u describe are being looked at... i somehow do not understand what is the agenda behind this part of the world... people are bad, weather is bad, this is bad that is bad... but still u are here... why... please go ... its a free will .. u can leave as and when u like ... dont crib and cry...

What do you expect in a country were women (including old, local, expats and young) are only 25% of the whole Qatar population... It's a disaster already

Looks like all girls will accept you silly issue men are looking at you - Where you dressed or not to bother so much

Next what made you wear a jeans and a loose shirt ???

That it self shows that wearing jeans to exhibit more of the hip and lower areas . Try to dress well so no one will look at you in a strange way .

What happens if some one looks and admire your god given beauty - Hope you will melt as wax !!!!!!!!!!!!

Solution : Buy a ABAYA and cover yourself so no one will know what you have and no more you will have such complaints my dear .

25 years and I have yet to see a woman who REALLY hates it when men check her out and doesn't flaunt it by claiming that it's bothering her...
