Which are the legal fishing points in Doha Qatar? I would like to join a fishing group. Would appreciate any contact details if any or website(s).

Try Qatar Sea Angling Club www.qsaa.net for more information on Qatar fishing from boat and shore. There's a good new website with some basic info, tactics, etc. Join the club if you are a serious angler and want to get to know where and when to fish.
The club hold weekly competitions for boat anglers.
Like minded shore anglers head off for marks around the inland sea which can be very productive. Wade out and fish over drop offs with lures, spinners and plastics. Hits are hard from Queenies, barracuda, travalies and kings. Most beaches are abound with small clams a couple of cm's under the sand at low water, these make great bait as well as good eating. (Steam with white whine and garlic for 10 mins).
