Not able to sign in yahoo messenger on bb 9900

I downloaded latest version of yahoo messenger on my bb 9900 through bb apps. But when i tried to sign in, I am getting a message *service is not enabled for this handheld. I am using vodafone sim. when i called up vodafone customer care, they said try downloading the latest version and i have alredy the latest one. Please help freinds. Thanks in advance......
