Jailbreaking Iphone 3GS version 3.1

Is it possible to jailbreak the 3.1 version of iphone without causing any damage to the phone?i asked the person at starlink service center and he told me that the jailbreak for version 3.1 is not available yet.

dude jailbeaking avoids warranty, does starlink encourage ppl to jailbreak ?? i doubt whether starlink sell all damn jailbroken & unlocked iphones what they claimed as officially unlocked, I tried calling them nearly 2 weeks, they say no stock at the moment.

as far as i know so far its not possible to jaibreak 3.1...dont worry dev teams are hardly working on..you can get the updates in there twitter page..
