A minute in Eataly
As many of you may have seen, my friends and I went to Eataly, an Italian restaurant in Mall of Qatar and I made a 1-minute video of it (below). Now it’s time for me to write a review.
What we ordered:
Penne All’arrabbiata, which is penne with tomato sauce and chili flakes.
Risotto Al funghi, which is risotto with a selection of mushrooms and parmigiana Reggiano.
As for drinks we ordered mint lemonade and a classic mojito
Overall, I would rate the restaurant as a 4/5.
Presentation: It didn’t look too over-the-top fancy but none of the dishes looked messy either. 3/5
Taste: The risotto could have used a bit more salt and flavor, but otherwise it tasted alright. As for the penne all’arrabbiata, it was delicious. Definitely an excellent choice for a dish. The mint lemonade could have been a bit sweeter but the classic mojito was quite good. The complimentary chips they gave us at the start were so good that we ordered another plate of those. 3/5
Texture: The risotto was a bit more soupy than I would have liked, otherwise everything else was great and it was very warm. 4/5
Service: Service was pretty good, the waiters were polite, they got everything we asked for quickly and we had no trouble with the orders. 5/5
Location: It was located in a very good area of the mall, with the stage right in front of us. It was an open area so we could see everything going on around us in the mall. 5/5
Atmosphere/ ambiance: The ambiance was great. There was nothing too notable about the atmosphere of the place but the thing I liked about it was that it was in an open space. 5/5
