Workstation

Hi folks,

I would like to know where I could get a workstation computer for Maya and other 3d applications. I have tried a few dell and lenovo partners but none seems to have them in stock. If there is anyone who could help me to assembleit that would be great. The main specs that im looking for are
1) Intel Xeon processor
2) Nvidia quadro fx card (not the NVS)
3) 8gigs of RAM

Do you have any recommendation regarding online purchase? Because most of the normal ones dont ship to qatar!

Any computer can be named a 'Workstation.' If you really want to assemble a performance computer you will have to buy the parts (preferably online). There is a lot of rubbish available in Qatar. Go for a mainboard that supports the i7 processor, make sure CPU and memory have the same bus clock, and go for a 1000 Watt power supply, especially if you intend to use a heavy video card. The rest is your choice. With the mainboard comes a manual. If you follow the instructions you can't go wrong.
