Which one should i buy?

I have a xbox 360 and im going to buy a new game this week but 1 friend of mine is saying halo reach since he has a xbox and he is my only friend on live but others friend say buy call of duty mordern warfare 2(cod mw2) and im not sure wich one to buy. I look at Gamespot ratings Halo has more larger rating but im more of the fighting type.
