if ur data is in soft copy it should be pretty easy to import the data n use it.

I went throgh ur requrments.It is better to do a VB application with MS access Databse(it will be one click installable).Then you can use a user freindly data input form,search form and alarm settings as u wish. I think I can do for you....

I want to prepare a manpower sheet, which should include the following like;

1) Man No

2) Name

3) Craft

4) Nationality

5) Mobilization date

6) Mobile Number

7) Passport No

8) Passport details ( expiry, issue dateS)

9) visa status

10) Medical and finger print status

11) Liquor permit status

12) emergeny contact deitlails

13) driving license

14) accommodatation details

and etc.

And if I want to make print out of the details also should be possible and also, if any visa or driving license is going to expire also, i want to get alarm before.

Your kind understandin for this matter would be highly appreciated.
