It all depends on your Laptops Specs.

Like which proessor it uses and how much outdated it is.

The HDD capacity, the RAM, GFX Card, and additional stuff like that.

If its an Intel Core 2 Duo processor with more than 2 Ghz of speed, it'd would fetch anything more than 3500. It can get lesser proportionally according to its specs.

You dont really have to tell the people that its a second hand. All you have to do is reformat the PC or do a clean install of XP / Vista and pack it up in the box as if you are reselling it. ONLY if its used barely !

You told that you used it barely, so I guess theres nothing wrong in doing this.

And also, if you do a clean install, dont forget to Stick that Microsoft Serial No. Label onto the back of the laptop.

halawala is correct, you need to check also the warranty and model of your laptop. computer prices this days easily drops..like cellphone..

Your laptop is considered a second hand. you can get atleast 3000 but not lower than 3000. TIA. :P

Now a days my friend, people are loosing a lot of money through reselling their laptop because they want to buy a new one.

I am also trying to sell my HP Pavilion Entertainment PC.

Surprisingly, i bought it for 4300 and it just cant be sold for more than 2800, let alone the excellent condition and the reliable warranty service from Jarir Book Store.

I am guessing that yours will be sold for no more than around 3000, obviously depending on the Condition, Age and Warranty.

Its probably best to search for your same model in the 'for sale' section, and get some general knowledge about the resale price for your specific laptop. Then from there you can judge whether you even want to sell it any more. Because i personally think reselling a laptop is of such a good idea. How ever im no one to advice this to you, so it is basically up to you.

Well i hope all this information helped, and please don't hesitate to ask me anything through Private Messages.

Regards.
