G1 Android - How to use in Qatar

Has anyone succeeded in using G1 Android phone using QTel postpaid SIM card?

I possess this phone for 2 months but unable to use it. It is unlocked.

Problem: I could not configure GPRS.

Note.
Android requires to login to google a/c in order to use the phone.

Yes I managed to use G1 with qtel sim today finally

Its as simple aas setting gprs in any phone

Key to success that u need to subscribe to gprs service
