Everything you need to know about the Apple iPhone 12 and where to buy it in Qatar

Apple had recently announced the launch of their new flagship smartphone, the iPhone 12. Every year Apple creates the most innovative high-tech smartphones in the market and this year’s line-up is no different.

The iPhone 12 comes in four models; iPhone 12 Mini (5.4in), iPhone 12 (6.1in), iPhone 12 Pro (6.1 in) and iPhone 12 Pro Max (6.7in).

The iPhone 12 and 12 Mini will be offered in black, white, red, green, and blue colors. On the other hand, the iPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max will feature silver, gold, graphite, and pacific blue.

The iPhone 12 models will come with the A14 Bionic, the fastest chip in a smartphone. Featuring an edge to edge OLED display, ceramic glass with up to 4 times more glass protection and their improved Night mode on every camera, the iPhone 12 seems to have it all.

The iPhone 12 model, the expected choice for those who want the most bang for their buck, is now 11 percent thinner, 15 percent smaller and 16 percent lighter in comparison to the iPhone 11.

Apple is also introducing the new turbocharging capability and MagSafe accessories, a shielded wallet that magnetically attaches to the back of the new smartphone.

Moreover, all the new models will finally support 5G, a feature that Ooredoo sim owners can take advantage of. It is also important to mention that earphones and charging plugs will not come included in the iPhone box.

Starlink

On 13th November 2020, Starlink will allow customers to pre-order from all iPhone 12 models on their website featuring free home delivery when purchasing products worth QAR 100 or more.

Shortly after, customers can purchase from their existing stock from their website or retail stores available across Qatar, including Lagoona Mall, Villagio Mall, The Mall and Pearl Qatar.

Furthermore, Starlink's Trade-In service will allow you to trade in your old phones for the new iPhone 12 and pay just the remaining difference. They also provide installment plans for QNB and Doha Bank Credit Card owners. 

Starlink also accepts Dream points, Life reward points and Najoom Points, or a combination of all, to get your brand new iPhone 12.

Virgin Megastore

Starting next week, Virgin Megastore will be equipped with Apple’s iPhone 12 and is expecting to receive new stocks by mid-October.

Although the iPhone 12 mini and Pro Max release dates have not been confirmed, it is expected to be available by the end of November.

Starting at QR 3,609 for the iPhone 12 and QR 4,200 for the iPhone 12 Pro, the two models will be available at their branches in Qatar. They include Villaggio, Landmark, Mall of Qatar, and Doha Festival City. 

Jarir Bookstore

All Jarir Bookstore branches will be stocked with the iPhone 12, starting at QAR 4,049, and iPhone 12 Pro starting at QAR 4,699. Moreover, Jarir is giving customers the option to pay in installments and reserve the smartphone early via their website.

The Jarir Bookstore branches are located on Salwa road, Jaidah Square, Al-Matar street and Ar-Rayyan. 

Technical Care Center

Technical Care Center currently has the iPhone 12 and Pro model in stock and is located in Tawar Mall, Gulf Mall, Dar Al-Salam Mall, Hyatt Plaza, Villagio, Palms Mall, Al Nasser, Salwa Road, and City Center.

Starting at QAR 4,495 for iPhone 12 and QAR 5,995 for iPhone 12 Max, they offer customers the option to order from their website with home delivery.

Saqr

According to its website, Saqr is currently restricted to just the iPhone 12 model and starts at QAR 4,549. They also feature home delivery. Furthermore, you can visit their branches in Qatar to know more about their offerings.

Lulu Hypermarket

Lulu Hypermarket's online shopping website, featuring home delivery, indicated that they are limited to the iPhone 12 model at a starting price of QAR 4,099. However, it is expected that more models will be available at their retail branches.

Al Anees

Although the iPhone 12 Pro is currently out of stock, the iPhone 12 and Pro Max model is currently available at a starting price of QAR 4,499. Their website features home delivery as well.

51 East

51 East is expected to have both the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro in stock by next week and have yet to confirm the prices. Customers can visit their branches in Lagoona Mall and Salwa road for more information.

iSpot

iSpot, Apple's premium reseller in Qatar, said that they will release the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro soon. Make sure to keep an eye on their Instagram page.

Vodafone

Vodafone has a total of 17 branches and retail stores throughout Qatar. They have all four models of the iPhone 12 available for pre-order on its website.
