Traffic Violation

I have a traffic violation QAR 6000 for passing red light near Pearl. I accidentally took left from the color light. I wanna pay ASAP. Please any one can help me to make my violation down

I had the same QR6,000 fine which came on SMS - I went to the traffic department and they said it was on red light - my wife was driving:(

I went to speak to the captain, and without me even saying anything to him he reduced it to QR1,000 - I was so happy I just paid it. After that a friend told me that if I asked him to reduce, he would maybe even make it QR500!!

I have never understood this. If there is a rule and fine. Why can the captain over ride it ?
