SMS delivery Reports on Iphone

I am not quite sure if this has been discussed in the site, but I couldnt find any threads on it and thought I will post it in case if is of help to anyone.

Many times I was wondering why Iphone being the smartest phone does not have the SMS delivery reports. This option is availble in most of the low budget phones eve. Frankly, i dont have the answer. However I found out there are some apps in Itunes or Cydia which will help to get the SMs delivery reports for the messages you send to your contacts.

However just to simply get a delivery report. In Qtel you need to type *N# space followed by your message. The receiver will not see the *N# which is the code to receive a delivery recipt. The moment the meesage is delivered, you will receive a full delivery receipt with the contact number of the person to whom you have sent the message to.
