Retaj Inn evicted everyone

I have been staying at the Retaj Inn since October. It has been a nice place to stay and the manager told me I could stay as long as I wanted.
On Thursday, eveyone in the building received a letter informing us that the Ministry of the Interior have rented out the whole building and everyone has to get out by the 21st December!
I am really angry that they have made me homeless like this and also, the hotel owes me a lot of money and they won't tell me whether or not they will pay me back!
Never deal with the Retaj Inn - they are not an honest business and could make you homeless with very little notice. They could also steal your money!
In the meantime, can anyone advise me where I can find alternative one bedroom apartment? I have a work visa but I don't yet have a residency permit, how much of a problem will that be?
Thanks for the advice Azilana, I need to start contacting some places :-)
Sometimes the landlord allows that the RP ID to follow and use your passport details instead.
I'm sure you'll get an apartment but depends on your budget, of course.
