Dear All,

I was working in Qatar 10 months back for more than 3 years and owing to immigration to another country, i had to leave the job without properly informing my sponsor.
I took emergency leave and did not go again. My work visa has also expired by now.I am in need of a PCC from qatar police. I will apply for the same through qatar embassy in new delhi.

My question is that can the sponsor create any problem ?
will the qatar police approach the sponsor ? the sponsor will surely be very annoyed and will not help a bit in this matter.

please guide with your experiences.

Thanks in advance.

Hello brother

Did you find any solution for this?? I am migrating to US and need PCC from Oman, assuming that all GCC have similar rules. I Did not leave the job properly and now need PCC. I dont owe them anything, nor did I do any thing offensive.

How did you get the PCC pls email me on [email protected]

there are no dues remaining. the only thing is that the sponsor did not want me to leave and i left.

he would not have cared for my immigration case and would have wanted me to continue with the job. which obviously i could not agree to. so i left without getting the visa cancelled.

is the police going to ask about me from the sponsor or will they just check the criminal records registered with them?

please guide ..... i am feeling very very helpless at this moment.

thanks

So what is your conclusion about the prospects of getting a pcc ? is it a gone case where the police will enquire from the sponsor and he can accuse anything and prevent me from getting the pcc....

my immigration process is almost complete and this is the last thing i need...... is there a way out or is it curtains for the case?

please guide me about the best possible solution for this problem.

thanks once again.

If the applicant is out of the country after the Qatar's resident permit expires he/she must send the following documents for granting a certificate of good conduct.

1- A personal letter states the purpose for granting a certificate of good conduct.

2- A copy of passport indicates the date of the first entrance to Qatar and the final departure.

3- 3 photographs size (4X6cm).

4- Fees: 8 US dollars (by cash or check).

5- A certificate of good conduct issued by the concerned authorities from the applicant's country and documented by the concerned authorities and validated by Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs or from the country representative. Excluded from this (those who have been born in Doha under the condition of bringing a copy of Birth certificate, and who entered the country under the age of 13 under the condition of bringing a copy of passport indicates the date of their first entrance to Qatar).

6- Fingerprint form validated by the concerned authorities of the applicant's country.

In this case the Ministry might get in touch with your Sponsor as your visa was not cancelled.

Did you leave debts or property? Those can came trouble. I'm not sure if breaking the terms of your contract will show up on you police clearance. Probably not.
