Passport < 6 months validity
Good day to all
I am a Malaysian working in Qatar and my passport will expire in Aug 2017
I am only planning to go on my vacation in June or July 2017.
The question is can I travel out from Qatar with less than 6 months in my passport to my country of origin, get the passport renewed in Malaysia before re entering Qatar with a renewed passport ?
Has anyone experience what I am planning to do ?

Same with me. My pport is also expiring in Aug 2017. I am going to embassy for renewal. I think it's better for you u go to embassy and get it done there. Since u still have ample time to do that.
Dude you don't have to travel all the way back to your country that's what embassies are for lol!
If people had to spend money just to travel all the way back to their countries just to renew a piece of paper then whats the use of an embassy.
Check with you embassy first and save your self all this worry by asking them all the questions you need!

There should not be any issue as long as you return before the expiry of your passport. However, since there is still some time before you proceed on vacation, why don't you renew your passport say in May 2017?
