I reckon that the nationality is a legal issue and has nothing to do with the religion. The state issues the nationality? So, what passport for the children? Anyone?

What about children? Whose nationality will they get?

if you enjoyed some freedom in your ex-marriage you would lose it in islamic marriage , no cautionary guides available for such step , just it is a personal and cultural matter rather than religious matter , humans are same every where , and your question correlated with that person precisely whether is he educated enough to respect rights of woman and on you whether you will respect his orientations , I have a few pal who are married from various nations and religious and are happy with their experiences , and that is not guaranteed the relation definitely since failure could cordon any relation and under any circumstance unless there are common ground of mutual understanding and acceptance

If your legal status is showing as married then you have to get that changed first; to marry a muslim is not a problem - even a christian or jew woman can marry a muslim without converting to Islam.

If you wish to marry a Qatari man then please check with legal I'm not sure what the law of land is on this.

Why not get a divorce first and then you can marry anyone you want without fear of any issues
