Marriage to a non-Qatari

Most of you probably already know that if a qatari man wants to marry and non qatari woman, he first has to get permission from the Ministery of Interior. I was wondering if any one has experience with this sort of thing and can explain the DO's and DONTs to me. What would help insure that the permission is granted. Also what will help expediate the process. I dont want to wait years just to get permission to get married to the person that I want to spend my life with.

Before you married a non-Qatari, please stop at my confession booth first for some advise. Make sure your Fiance visits the Confession Booth first. I'll guarantee you, she will be having second thoughts when she hears the reality of marriage in the middle east.
