What options do I have for shipping my household items back to Spain? Does anyone have any experience with any shipping company / air cargo / post office sending back things?
We will be sending back mostly clothes / books and a few items of furniture. What would you recommend>

It all depends on the weight/volume of the consignment you need to ship. Since you have some furniture that needs to be shipped, I believe shipment would be by sea freight. In this case you will need either a LCL (Les than Container Load) or a FCL (Full Container Load) depending on the volume of the items. It is best you contact some companies who are in the freight forwarding business. They can come over and asses the type of shipment you need after inspecting the items and will advise you best. You may be able to find the contact addresses of such companies in Doha through Google.
