I have been hired by a Indian Managed Qatari company and they have provided me a business visa for entering to Qatar. Now I was given a job offer / employment contract on which a salary was mentioned agreed and both parties have signed.

Now after working for one month. I have been given a salary which is QAR 2000 lesser which is totally illegal and not with the law of Qatar, i believe. I have approached company's GM regarding that and have written a letter which they have yet not acknowledged.

Request you to kindly guide me on the issue. Should I visit the labor court here? Should I write a letter through my official email address?

My business visa is going to expire in another 1 months time.

Please guide me at the earliest, so that I can start the proceeding. Thank you all.

Hello Doha recruiter, sorry you are right that was a basic error. Actually I meant to a high attrition rate. Employees do the leave the company quite often.

Hi Sanjib003,

If company policies/facilities are bad( as per your version) why attrition rate low? EITHER you do not know what is "attrition rate" OR what you are saying about the company is not correct.

Company from Qatar naming Diplomat Group WLL working in joint venture of another company Nagarjuna contruction co. has cheated me.

Diplomats CEO Prakash Rao in consultation with Nagarjuna Construction Co.s Director Operations naming Bhaskar Reddy BV has issued a job agreement od QAR 7000 but the day I reached there they reduced my salary to QAR 5000, Bhaskar Reddy saying Diplomat Group CEO have not taken a written approval from Nagarjuna. Which I believe is ridiculous.

They have no system of working for the project. Their food living conditions are very vety bad. Attrition rate is very low. Even QP their client is not amused with that.

A company from Qatar have not paid the amount that was mentioned in the job contract from the first month itself which was due within 10 days of my joining and for that I was bound to leave the company within 2 months and come back to India. I was executive secretary to the GM.

I have gone through severe mental trauma.

Kindly advise me about the legal suit that I can initiate from India.

Thanks

Dear Gold Dust

My visa is a Business-Work visa the one generally company gives just for entering the country. You cannot get a stamped visa before arriving to the country. am I right?

You cannot go to the labor office as you are not on work visa. Your company can do all these things because they are well aware of this. As such, you should just swallow this bitter pill with glass of water.

It is illegal to work on a Business Visa. If you complain both you and the company will be in problem.
