How to learn Arabic?

....learning languages, now if you were to ask me if the Egyptian dialect was Arabic, I'd answer yes. I see it as a widely familiar form of colloquial Arabic, spread notably by Egyptians like Yusuf Almaghribi, and later reformer/ secular intellects. But if you'd ask about the "Egyptian Language", I'd respond differently.

Anyway, as per sociolinguists, the Egyptian dialect is considered a distinct variety of Arabic. So, by no means it'd be considered Classical Arabic (nor Modern Standard Arabic).

Urdu is the sweetest...Agree..one example...earlier i was living in saudi arabia and my next neighbours where from urdu speaking and sometimes when husband wife used to fight then the husband used to say with lot of adab.."Begam aap mar kayon nahi jaati"...compared to punjabi it was a very sweet way of saying a sour thing.

happy...you would know a lot of Urdu words. Urdu is kind of a mixture of Arabic, Persian, Pashto, Sinskrit & a few other languages....but honestly, I find it the most sweetest language of the world. :-)

I think the Urdu word "bashash" is being derived from 'bashoosha'...which means 'fresh'.

....KHATTAK, 'bashoosha' is said to a person with an accommodating smiling face, who barely shows unpleasant expression even in troubled times.

Khapee is just saying "happy" in a typical Pashto accent. Khappay is a Sindhi word...means 'needed'. You're right happy...its somehow related to Mr. President Zardari. He said "Pakistan Khappay" after his wife was assassinated.

btw...I am learning proper Arabic through Fanar. Still in the basic level where they teach us the Arabic alphabets and its correct pronunciation...Though, I already know it but still worth of it.
