Assalamualaikum members.

I want to know the visa law about new born baby in qatar. The issue is that my wife have resident visa of 3 years i.e july 2018 - july 2021 &  her father  is her sponsor. We got married in aug 2018 and i came with her to Qatar in dec 2018 on a construction company visa as a manager and my company is not sponaoring family visa. Now her expecting delivery month is nov. So i want to know that Qatar gov will issue birth certificate of the child.or not.. or they charge any penalty for that .. if yes then how.much the penalty is? Other than i heard that the gov will.may b cancel my wife's visa because she is under his father sponsorship. Kindly guide me about the law or give me any solution that how can i manage these things without facing trouble.

Thanks in advance

If he can't sponsor his wife and she will lose her residence visa because they married, it only shows how inhumane the visa laws in Qatar are!

If your baby is born in Qatar / HMC you will get a birth certificate [ even though the parents are under different sponsorship ] provided details and a nominal charges.

What is the penalty you are referring ?

Good Luck

You will get a Birth Certificate for the child from the Qatar government. As for your wife's visa, I guess this will get cancelled as a daughter can stay under her father's sponsorship till the time she gets married. I do not know anything on the penalty side if there would be any or how much that would be.
