END OF SERVICE BENEFITS

Hi, What are the rules regarding end of service benefits in Qatar? It used to be 3 week's basic pay for 1st five years of service, then 4 week's for more than five years and 5 week's for more than ten years. Has the rule changed? My friend resigned recently and he was only paid 3 week's basic for each year even though he worked for eleven years.

Sajith, ask your friend to check his employment contract.Minimum should be 21 days of basic salary.
