as I understand, this person is very imprtant for DaRush.. sure, there is no reason to change for everyone.. but.. DaRush WANTS to solve the problem, and we are trying to HELP him to solve his problem! He WANTS to fix this damage, and he tries different things, i guess.. so the one I suggested is another try to get this person's trust back... that's it...

I think sometimes get a sick kick out of making you feel like you've wronged them.
I often find that if you don't entertain their silliness, they soon get fed up! (trust me, I'm always putting my foot in it in some way or other....)

We all know your tone and style… Maybe this person expects from you to talk to her only using the tone which cannot cause any misunderstanding: straight, nice, gentle, sweet (the only question: CAN YOU???)... Not everyone can understand and accept your sarcasm, irony and such… so just promise her that you will never talk to her using this tone, for her you will always make the exception …
