Reasons for blacklist in Qatar/GCC

Primary tabsView(active tab) EditWhat are the different reasons to get blacklisted in Qatar and for the GCC?

I was selected for the HMC for grade 106 last year. I accepted the offer. After that, I recived my work visa and Flight ticket from HMC. But i asked for family visa and was refused. I didnt make it to qatar on that flight ticket given by HMC. I contacted the HR and asked for family visa for wife. But was told that in this grade it is not possible.

And then cancelled my visa. I never made it there.I Dont have any stamped for entry or exit from qatar.

Does this make me blacklist for Qatar or GCC.

Can I apply for Qatar now for some other jobs or any other GCC country? Is this can be the reason for me to be blacklist by qatar or gcc.

Can i get work in other country? like the UAE?

@sirajvkz, i dont think a ban is applicable to those who had never entered the country. Nor do i have any stamping on passport. Also the visa status is showing cancelled now.

@data analyst, contact your previous sponsor who issued the visa to you. They can only issue a new visa to you at this stage. Otherwise you should wait 2 years from the date of cancellation to remove the ban period.

I was granted work visa by HMC, but i didnt made entry in the country because of personal reasons. and never entered the qatar. Now my visa status shows visa expired and cancelled. So is this rule applies to me also. Both cases are diff. I never entered the country. So if i get a job in qatar now will it be a issue?
