Check Bounce

My building agent has issued me a bank check at the end of my contract towards the return of the security deposit which I have paid while joining the appartment after requesting him for 5 months.

That check has bounced.

He is not responding to my calls now.

What actions can I take against him ?

Please advice.

Is that a real estate agent......lodge a complaint with the capital police. Sure that must have left the country by now :(

File a complaint with the cops, and the bank. They can eventually track down the agent.

re submit it once again, if it bounces ask the banks to take action or file a complaint with the police
