Cheap Flights
Hi QLers
I am trying to find a cheaper alternative to QA. I want to do a bit more travelling over the next couple of years.
Any ideas for cheap flights to diffenet locations all over the world would be much appreciated. I think that Asia will be my first place to vist, maybe Thailand.
Any suggestions?
So far very serious discussion why don't you try my Jet Missile, it is absolutely free man ...
It would be great if there were cheap flights available similar to EasyJet or Ryan Air in Europe but I don't think any low budget airlines operate in this region. I have thought about traveling to Dubai then onward journey as prices from Dubai seem more affordable but by the time you have added the low fare (eg Bahrain Air) it is not much cheaper. Let's hope more airlines start operating into Doha and bring more choice to consumers.
Asia? Air Asia - very good budget airline. There are pros and cons, as with everything else but I find it excellent for me.
I have flown on AA quite often, mostly to Thailand - Bangkok, Phuket and Chiangmai - no complaints. I've also flown to Perth, Australia - very good. They have other destinations too like Cambodia, Bali (Indonesia), Gold Coast (Australia), etc. Of course, within Malaysia, to Kota Kinabalu, Kuching, etc.
/Note: I said that I fly AA often so people know that it's not just a once off good experience that forms my opinion on this matter.
//And no, I do not have any shares in Air Asia. I have nothing to gain from it. Merely that I think it's value for my money. And I will continue to fly it on my holidays.

Don't want no drama,
No, no drama, no, no, no, no drama
Thanks for the suggestions. I have searched the web and found some good sites. Expedia and Travelocity are good. I was hoping that someone would know of some budget airlines that operate in the area, a bit like Easyjet and Ryan Air in Europe.
Etihad Airways, and airarabia.com, you can't go wrong with those two.
Depending on where you want to go and what you want to do I have found booking through an Internet travel agency like Expedia (this is the site I used to book flights and hotels for a holiday in Thailand) very reasonable.
The only drawback is that you have to pay by Credit Card.
Happy traveling
there's bahrain air is a lot cheaper
why dont you search the web?
I am very sorry that I have no suggestion for you.
