Carrying AC's

Hi!
I am planning to carry an AC with me during my next trip to India. Can anybody tell me the issues involved in it other than that of the luggage allowances??? Will I be taxed there in India??

Acs should be bought in India itself as they come in builtin voltage stabilizers. More over service is very good. Try LG splits or General. Both are very quite.

You can't carry an A/C with you, it's too heavy. How are you going to do it? Under your arm or over your shoulder? In any way, if you manage it, you'll be in the Guiness Book of Records!
