@ ppanjwani i do read eBooks more than paper ones. but eBooks can never match the joy you get when you hold a real book in your hand and read it.

I generally buy eBooks for fiction and hard print for non fiction.

Actually i am a mod of a ebook group on facebook and a sharer on Ucforum. book crazy! :P

Books (fiction or non-fiction) are very costly in Qatar. I always buy from my home country. And you wont get much choice here.

I will advice u to purchase a kindle or if it is comfortable for u then u can read books on ur Smart phone also. Amazon has a huge library from where u can purchase and read books. Earlier i used to buy hardbound but now i prefer ebooks as cannot maintain hardbound books.

Roshan: Virgin store at Villaggio and Jarir Book Store have them. Jarir Book Store has several branches in the city. They are located on old Airport Road, Salwa Road just after the Ramada signal coming from Musheirab, and in Rayyan adjacent to Family Food Center near to the Woqood petrol pump. Good to know there is a lover of books around in the city.

As for the above post, I doubt very much you will ever get to know of such a group. Please don't anticipate a reply. You may have been able to guess this from the word "genuineness." There are some people at QL who post just for the fun of posting.
