Whoao! MM you have to Tell me your secret... I spend 1,5 days in Qatar and I have spent 800QAR (without considering hotel). For me it seems that Doha is super expansive and the dinner or lunch cost is around 50 to 100 QAR, but maybe I have been to the expansive part of the city. If you know good places (clean and good food) and cheap please tell me in which neighbors is it... Thanks

If you Cook you can save up more .... 3000 Per head (Whose head are u eating Qatar _2015 lol) again life style very good point . For asians we averagely spend 600 QAR on monthy groceries and an average 20 QAR per meal ( above Average lifestyle ) calculate it as 1500 max per person if its only food we are talking about.

With average life style of expats, it would be around 3,000 Riyals per head, for couples 5,000 Riyals

I have proven ideas to save on food bill provided you care to adopt ............. Those who are serious on saving food , water , elect., gas , washing liquid know how to spend their weekday evenings for tea / coffee & dinner at their boss, colleagues, relatives , friends & neighbours and other kind souls' homes you meet on the street .......... Apart from that from Thursday afternoon till Sunday 3 AM / every week you must be at sombody's home ............. This way your expenses can be brought down to 5 % only ..... Always ask for lift when you hop from one home to the next on week ends ....... so that you won't get tired in driving your car & save fuel to protect the environment ......... ... It is all subjective. It depends on your eating habits, life style etc etc.

Search QL and you will find many answers to this question. It will then give you a general idea
