Allergy Treatment - Drops - How Much $$$?
By xpatadventure •
Hello-
I need to order allergy drop for my nose allergy treatment (sublingual immunotherapy). My doctor told me it will cost 1,500 QAR per month.
Does it sound right?
In the US, it would cost 75 QAR ($20) a month.
Since I have to pay out of pocket, I can shop around for a better deal.
Any suggestion where I can order (online, local pharmacy, or other doctor office)????? Please help!
Thanks a lot.
ibelinaah, my son has the same complaints like sneezes (more in morning time),blocked nose with swelling in nostrils during nights, watery eyes almost all mornings since 2 weeks, please tell me which doctor you have consulted allergist/ENT Specialist? I have consulted with ENT specialist but he is telling along with turbinates(nasal swelling) he is having allergic rhinitis so I want to consult with any good allergist,I will be very greatful if you will provide me the address/telephone no if possible. Thanks in advance

Hi there,
To clarify, I am allergic to dust, all kinds of plants, trees, and grasses for over 10 years now. I had allergy blood test done and as a result, the doctor recommends I go through allergy drop/shot treatment. It's not the allergy drop administers through the nose like saline solution or flonase, but it's a special vial to administer under the tongue.
Anyway, thanks for your comments. I should visit a different doctor for second advice. Do you know or recommend a good ENT doctor here?
Thanks
go and check it out at any hamad clinic and you will get it on a minimal fee or free of charge...but you need to have a health card
hi there,I have allergy like incessant sneezes and blocked nose with watery eyes during dusty days.My drops cost me only about 17QR which goes upto a month. But I dont know what allergy you are suffering from and maybe you can get in touch with some other doctor too.A second consultation is good when you are in doubt. My daughter also has dust allergy and sneezes upto 30 tyms once attacked by it but these drops in the nose brings great relief and doesnt cost that much as far as I know.Anyway your condition may be different from mine....ask a different doctor too
