My friend,

Better you go and meet the Principal in person and explain the concern. At the same time submit an official complaint (written with full details) in the school Admin. Manager. Hope this will be helpful...

Is that lady being harsh with other kids too?? If yes, confront the mother of those kids and make a complain in a GROUP to the school management...Hope this will create a better impact..

Indian schools in India are now changed they dont overburden the kids a lot or not at all with homework and as far as exams are concerned they are on semester basis.

half of the school copies are kept there in school in respective lockers there in schools itself .

Here in Doha I think they follow the old mathod of teachings .

You need to tell the management- either call the school front desk and ask them to connect you to the transport section or tell them to connect you to the principal. Either way, they will help you and sort out the problem. About school bags being too heavy, its true, the children have to carry heavy loads. I don't think there can be any change here, unless the curriculum and the styles of teaching are changed/modernized.
