Villagio is empty and seemed closed
By Springspring •
I went past villagio last night the lights inside the mall were on but it was deserted. I could c the Carrefour closed from outside. Someone commented few days ago that it's open and there we more than two thousand people there which is untrue.
I'm a new arrival in Doha and yesterday whilst venturing out decided to see if Villagio was open. I can confirm that it is closed and doesnt look like it will be open for a while. I assume the handfull of cars parked outside are workers or security peoples.
i heared it was opened in eid
Springspring, take it easy friend and enjoy humor :)
It's been deleted since no one wants to make this world a better place!
I'm not spreading rumors!
I can tell that Carrefour was closed bcoz the closed shutters can b seen from outside too. I read in the newspaper that it's closed so it's closed rest r all rumors!
Does anyone knows if furniture stores will open soon?!
MsHala and like many others, tell them to say "it is open" not I heard, stop being those fence sitters like u r stand up and b heard and b held responsible for ur actions and ur words....MG U FENCE SITTERS....lmao
All I seem to be reading these days is the words "I heard".
I heard it is opening next month for selected shops.
Fine, you 'heard'.
But you 'said' also what you had heard.
And RALFISH has now simplified it by naming it a MELON.
Actually, yes, the memorial will evoke strong responses one way or another. Hope the powers that be sit up and take note and take action to ensure safety in all malls and buildings.
I recall that electrical wirings in certain places were faulty and power surges were the norm. It was basically a hit and miss whether or not appliances blew up. A few of mine did, but nothing major and I was blessed not to end up being injured. No choice as had to live in those conditions and had to make the best of things.
Atleast as a mother of two small kids I don't give a damn to it.... Don't have courage to go there ever.... Can't afford to see a death memorial of little angels :(((
Where's your other thread friend?
Who Cares if Villaggio open or not.... At least i don't.. ;)
It's impossible, Villaggio Mall is a perfect!
yeah City Center was all crazy last night, so over crowded!
and Villagio still not open as in yesterday, a friend of mine works at Cinema and confirmed yesterday.
No update for now!!!
Like I said, "I heard" from a few people here on QL that only the theaters were open. Again I could be wrong and I'm assuming so based on the craziness that was City Center last night! hehehe
i been personally there...still its closed only.....
People are saying, closed from outside but open from inside......
ITS A MELON
I am taking the average, because ..
People are saying, closed from outside but open from inside.
But the sign board could be faulty
May be because lights were off on sign board of Carrefour! :)
How can you tell from the outside that Carrefour is closed ?
It is closed!!
Sorry Double post
Well i saw on Eid day that there are a lot of people in villaggio, and i am watching movie in IMAX while eating bobcorn, then suddenly my damn phone rung and i woke up :(
As Announced in Arabic Newspapers , Villagio is not ready to be open yet until further notice .
Villagio parking is closed and is being invetigated for safety. They have a free shuttel service to villagio from Zoo. There were more than two thousand people there last night...:)
all the best to villagio
You say it is closed from out side but some say it is open from inside - like Ms Hala ?
Last I heard, only the theaters were open on the first day of Eid but the entire mall was still closed.
Avoid spreading rumors
That's because it is closed
