I'd like to know if incase i purchased an item from eBay and the item is shipped here in Doha via U.S. Postal Service, will there be tax charges from customs here in qatar? if there is, how much would it be or how do we calculate it? how many percent is the total charge from the cost of the item shipped?

Hi,

I've been purchasing from US for some time, my last purchase is a camcorder from Amazon.

What I know is that customs will not charge any item if the declared price is less than $ 1,000.

Few month ago, I got a dvd player for my car for $500 and didn't pay any customs.

Note that I am using Aramex Shop & Ship which is a perfect service.
