Curtain Heading Tape....!

I know this is a trivial topic, but I have spent over four hours looking for curtain heading tape in Doha!

I have some IKEA curtains I need to add tape to otherwise I can not hang them! I know making my own curtains is silly when I can so easily get them made but some habits are hard to stop! Hope you can help as I have been having dreams of opening my own sewing shop - not ideal....

I have seen netted/lace ones at Reem Upholstery on Gulf Street

But I tried along that road - its tailors mainly - also along Salwa road curtain shops - they don't sell the tape... any other suggestions gratefully received!

There are plenty of Shops in Doha where you can get these tapes. have you tried the Curtain and Upholstery places in Al Merghab Street Al Nasr Area?

I buy them in IKEA in Dubai and then adjust them. they are very cheap there and look good especially the nets! I have not found a place to buy fabric in Doha - only Indian style dress fabric. I also bring it over from the UK when I go home....I just need some curtain heading tape to complete the task!
