The world Qatari rallly champion Nasser Bin Saleh Al Attiyah came first during the Qatar International Rally Championship,achieving his 13th victory in his motor sport career and the 4th in Qatar international rally.Nasser Al Attiyah together with his co-driver Mathew Baumel,broke the world record which was formerly held by Mohamed bin Selem.

Distance covered by the drivers during this years rally was 535.24 km.During the final round,5 drivers withdrew from the race due to technical challenges.This year's championship had a total of 12 drivers at entry level.

The world rally Champion Nasser Al Attiyah expressed his joy during the prize giving today at the QMMF centre and was thankful for achieving his target by setting a new world record.
