I want to buy a Prado GX V4 from Agent, but wondering should i waint more 2 month for new 2009 model ? is't have effect on resale value ? is 2009 model will be a new design ?
I have a 2007 Prado VX. Just love the car but have to be honest...the service sucks. There is not point in waiting for the 2009 model...its the same except for the sticker at the sides. My suggestion...go for it. Plan your service appointments accordingly depending on the usuage of miles on road. The car is great and extremely popular in Doha. I even bought new accessories like, roof rails, back sensors and a LCD screen on the dash that includes DVD / MP3 / MP4 / Bluetooth / Aux in / USB / Navigation / etc...
There is no use of dreaming about TOYOTA PRADO 2009! My Dad just bought the 2009 PRADO VX on Wednesday (17/09/08). Its just the same as the 2008 PRADO! No use of thinking about the 2009 PRADO's Body Style, Interior, etc!
NOTE: You must have noticed that the TOYOTA LAND CRUISER has a LCD Screen at the front Dash Board. If you want that LCD Screen to be fixed on a 2009 PRADO, it will cost you QR 9,500 & with Rear Camera it will cost QR 10,500. It's going to come after 1 month or it also might take more time.
If you/anyone knows where I can get Accessories for PRADO like Spoilers, LCD, Wireless/Remote for Trunk/Back Door? Please e-mail me at: [email protected].
2008 & 2009 may be the same spec, but if you were offered a choice at the same price, which would you take - 2009 of course. The only way the dealer could possible shift his "old" stock would be to discount them.
I would say wait for next two months. May be Toyota unveils new shape with great style..... I have Toyota Prado 2005 but u may get away with new style...

Go for it and buy it...its a gorgoeus car, otherwise go for the new H3 gold color, its fantastic...cheers

new line of Prado will be released in 2010 not 2009, and i have check it seems both 2008-2009 models are the same specifications.
What about GX resale value ?
