It is a long shot ... but i guess worth to put a thread on here. Another reason i can make some point too :-)

Wondering does anyone from Cambridge on this group? My husband need to do an exam for his certificate renewal in Granta Park ... and i am planning to go down with him. We normally stayed somewhere in bed and breakfast, but those days my son only small and my husband only need to do his 'business' for 2 or 3 hours. But this time he will need 2 full days for his exam renewing his certificate.

My question is ... anyone familiar with Cambridge high street? Can anyone recommend a hotel or B&B downtown that walking distance to shops area or high street shops? Dont tell me about Travel Inn ... most of their hotels are on the main road that you have to get the car to go to the shopping area. Dont mind to spend a bit more money as far as convenient for me and son to walk to the shops.
