Once you leave your job in Qatar how long is the ban on being able to get a work visa for a competitor? Is it one or 2 yrs?

Ban is still 2 years, except in case you have NOC, ban period does not apply !

The Ban is 2 years. Only if the company cancel you, which most wont. companies dont. The new law still need an NOC from your employer / ministry with will take into account competition restrictions.

I don't disagree.. But surely, It's better to do a "search" on QL first... 99.9999999999999999 % of the questions have been asked before in one form or another...

Brit: Because things get changed on a daily basis. What was applicable last month isn't applicable this month. So there are several reasons to ask same questions over and over again as time goes by.
