Resident Permit
I am currently on my husband’s sponsorship. I got a job offer stating the contract will become effective on the day my resident work permit becomes under the sponsorship of XXXX company. By signing the contract does it mean my resident permit will be under XXXX company or will I stay under the sponsorship of my husband?
Thanks,
It is clear from your statement that you are already under husband's sponsorship. If you are accepting the job offer from xxxx Company means you are honouring their employment terms and conditions and thereby willing to come under their sponsorship at the earliest as required. But, by just signing employment contract does not fulfill the legal requirements. There are sponsorship change papers from Immigration available. Both the sponsors (xxxx Co. as well as your existing sponsor i.e. husband) must sign and their signatures must be attested in the Immigration. Also, affixing your signature is must in that form. Then only the real process will start. My doubt is are you whole heartedly willing to change or just to obtain job are you compromising?
