Need new passport number on visa ?

Dear QL friends,

I am currently in India and got a job offer from Qatar.I have been asked to send my passport copies and other required documents and i sent to them already.

Recently i have noticed that my passport doesn't have blank pages to stamp the qatar residence visa and hence thought of applying for new passport booklet before my travell . Finally i got the new passport with another passport number.

Now my doubt is , the company who offered me the job might already have visa ready for me with old passport number.Would it create any problem during my travel to Qatar? Actually i don't want to inform this ( about new passport) to company's HR ,as thet might get frustrated bcoz of this.

Kindly advice me on this confussion.
